The Lord's Day - What Is It?
It is Written... I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great Voice, as of a trumpet." Revelation 1:10.
For centuries theologians and Bible scholars from all persuasions have debated the question: WHAT is the Lord's Day? Some have conclude that it is Sunday. Others are of the persuasion that it is Saturday. Each have attempted to pin-point it as a natural twenty-four day, failing to recognize the Scriptural difference between God's True Sabbath
We will show by the Scriptures that the "Lord's Day" isn't Saturday, Sunday or any particular day of worship. But rather it is a space of time wherein God pours out His Judgements upon the earth and makes an end of all things. John was caught, by the Spirit, into this time of the end to "see" all these things.
Through John, the Revelation of the works of Christ, through Seven Church Ages are revealed, climaxing with the final judgements.
Please come back again and we will take another journey through the Bible to find the answer to this question.
